We had a nice little weekend out of the city in lovely Sorrento in the south of Italy. It is a few hours south of Rome by train and you pass Naples and Pompeii along the way. Beautiful mountainy countryside, citrus everywhere and, seriously, lemons the size of beachballs. Sorrento is known for Limoncello, a sweet lemon based distillation, inlaid woodworks and fresh seafood amongst other things. Here's the first part of our journey.
