So, right down the street from the JFRC (John Felice Rome Campus) is my favorite pizza joint in Rome. The owner, Tullio, is one of the nicest dudes ever and the first friend I made here in Italy. Dude makes a righteous arancini and his rotisserie chicken is to die for. He always gives me a free piece of pizza bianca for the baby and he usually throws something that I didn't ask for in the box when Charity and I order food from him. It only felt right to give him his own post, since I eat here several times a week (sometimes several times a day).
The humble sign on the side of the place (whenever I see it, I know I'm almost home).
This is the sign out front. Love it.
The man himself, tending to his dough.
This is what my lunch usually looks like.
Prosciutto and smoked cheese.
Roasted aubergines (eggplants to the layperson).
Mushroom, mozzarella and gorgonzola.
Tullio took those last three pics using my camera because he's rad. Stay tuned intrepid blog followers, there is (as always) more to come.
