The art in the museums here is amazing, but you can find that stuff in any fine art or art history book. The stuff you find on the street is temporary and transient. Here are some more examples I have come across during my travels.
In my first Street Art post, I put up a piece from a duded called Merlo, I have since seen several more of his works throughout my neighborhood. This one is pretty recent.
Here he is again...
Most shops have steel security shutters down when they are closed, this one belongs to a butcher shop and I find it hilarious.
This one is a computer repair shop, I guess he's the Dr. House of P.C. repair. (The butcher shop and this one are by the same dude.)
This is a newsstand at Piazza Balduina, and, if my guess is correct, Ryu Hayabusa. Update: My guess was wrong, it's from Diabolik.
I like the positive message.
Silly old bear...
Technically this is in a museum, but, shut up.
Not much graffiti in Villa Borghese, but it is there.
Who couldn't use a free life? Fresh for 2015!
Bonus, another one!
Okay, so dude is pretty prolific, it seems.
Magneto will show you to the exit.
This city has a ton of graffiti, not all of it is good, but why would I show you the crappy stuff? Stay tuned intrepid followers, next time there will be baby pictures, I promise.
