- Everything is on a goddamn hill
- Internet sucks
- Burgers are hard to find and ridiculously expensive
- BBQ sauce is 8 bucks a bottle
- La Pausa (the middle of the day when everything closes)
- Hungry and don't want pizza? sucks to be you.
- Can't buy video games because they don't work on american systems.
- 20 minutes of hot water, max (if you're lucky)
- Grocery stores run out of things (like ground beef, wtf?)
- They don't refrigerate milk
- Ice is about as common as albinos
- If you don't like Coke or Pepsi, good luck (they do have 2 flavors of fanta though)
- "steak" doesn't mean that. Unless you are willing to spend 30 Euro (not Dollars, Euro)
- Most types of cheese that you get in the US simply aren't here
- Nary a Milkshake to be found
- Tacos? Not likely.
- Oven means mean Toaster or Microwave (for your tiny ass kitchen)
- It is a logical impossibility to do your own laundry, unless you wash it in the tub.
- Nothing gets done on Sunday.
- Bacon isn't bacon, usually it's something else (guanchale or proscuitto)
Okay, to be fair, Rome is awesome, but everywhere you go has a little suckitude in it. Life's not always peaches & cream, you know? Here's a short list of things that grind my gears
