Hello, internet friends and family. Warmest greetings from Italia! Many of you may already know this, but our time here in Rome draws very short. We have made no secret of our plans, post-Europe, but it occurs to me that some people might still be wondering what our final destination shall be. I am thrilled to officially announce my glorious return to the sunny shores of California. We will be leaving Italy on the 21st of April and flying into Chicago. We'll stay there a couple of days so we can see all of the wonderful folks there that have made the last 7 years so special to us and then on to Indiana to see some family and get our dog. From there we will journey south to Memphis for a little more family time before heading west on route 66 to California. I should be back in the desert by may 1st, just in time for a birthday celebration. Then it's just a short trip to San Diego, which will be our final stop. We'll be staying with some friends for a little bit, so's we can get jobs and find a permanent home and whatnot. If you live in the San Diego area and know of some part time work, I am all ears. At some point I'll have an American cell phone number, but now is not that time. Follow my blog, or message me on facebook if you'd like a visit from the Humphreys clan. We would like to see as many friendly faces as possible on our whirlwind journey across the globe. I'm sure you've seen the photos, but you will not believe how big Constance has gotten. I am sad to say goodbye to my midwest compatriots, but that doesn't mean I won't come back for a visit and you are always welcome at our place in California, once we get ourselves set up. I also want to send a special shout out to those that have made our time here in Italy so awesome, the shop owners, the expatriates, the undergrads, the faculty, and the folks who live in our neighborhood that say hello to us every time we see them. And last but not least, most sincere thanks to the folks who donated to our Indiegogo campaign to get us out here, it wouldn't have been possible without your support and we've got things to send you as soon as we return.

It's crazy to think that this...
...used to be this
See you soon, friends!
Also, this is not the final blog. As I have stated before, I'm gonna keep doing this until we leave and probably for some time after that as well. Stay tuned!
